I've always wondered if you're supposed to tip on something like a phone order at a teriyaki place. I go to a mexican takeout place once a week or so for lunch and they swipe my card and then say thank you and attend to the next customer. Some places will hand me a receipt with a spot for writing in the tip.</p> <p>What if it's a place like McDonalds/Starbucks? Do you leave them something in the tip jar? </p>
