Every time I get my hair cut I wash my own hair beforehand because I don't feel like spending extra money to pay somebody to do something I can do myself. It would be awkward to walk with money in my hand. The salon has envelopes to leave tips in so I could leave a tip there. It's nice because the envelopes are essentially anonymous.
