i cannot do yoga. i tried twice, and laughed the whole time. my body wasn't mean to contort like that. i think everyone in the class was happy when i never came back!

i do love snowboarding though. i am not even 1% athletically inclined, but i feel like i picked snowboarding up really easily. it's the only sport where i actually push myself to try harder and feel pride in doing so.

I'm not athletically inclined ;) but I've forced myself to try things- yoga, pilates (sp?), kick boxing, etc. I also forced myself to get in awesome shape once- that's how I met DH, he was my trainer :P yup, it worked out for me, lol. I'd like to run a race someday just because I SUCK at running! I had whooping cough when I was younger & my lungs have never been the same. Even a 5k just to say I ran something.

I'm naturally not very athletic and my parents never pushed sports when we were kids. So I only started getting into anything active as an adult. In fact, I learned to bike as an adult. I hate running but I force myself to do it. Thinking about training for a half (maybe full one day) marathon as well! Love tennis and snowboarding. I like yoga and Pilates but am not consistent at doing it.

After high school and college, I sucked at running. So, I trained for a half marathon to push myself out of my comfort zone, and prove to myself I could do it. It was one of the most grueling, yet rewarding experiences of my life! My favorite thing is yoga though, and I'm naturally good at it, but feel bad for "only doing" yoga sometimes. Do you try to conquer sports related things you aren't good at and/or stick to what works for you? What do you like to do?
