What I used to do was unswaddle, change them, swaddle, feed them or unswaddle, change them, feed them halfway, swaddle, the feed them the rest. Fun stuff!

I'm still trying to figure this one out because we haven't found what's right for her yet. Sometimes I unswaddle to make sure she's full but other times I leave her to keep her sleepy. I can't tell what's working so I need to start writing noted in my baby app to keep track. Currently she has a crazy time from 8ish to 12ish where she snacks, seems full, gets a crazy full diaper, acts like a crazy person, snacks, quick nap/feed, crazy person, huge feed, asleep. I'm trying to sort out how to remove some crazy because the rest of the day, she's great. Blerg. I think the key is the swaddle but I haven't figured out its role yet. :)

I always unswaddled too because I changed her diaper anyway. I changed her diaper first, then fed, swaddled, and then fed her again to make her sleepy.

We have a halo sleep sack swaddle, so I unswaddle his arms to feed him, then just swaddle his arms up once he's done.

I always keep him swaddled while he is nursing on the first breast then unswaddle, diaper change and reswaddle then give him the other side. When my DH gives him bottles at night I think he does the diaper change first then swaddles and gives him the bottle that way he hopefully gets sleepy while eating or burping.

For night feedings I leave her swaddled and feed her in the r'n'p. The feeding takes longer, but she stays asleep, which means I can pump and get to sleep sooner.

I always unswaddle because she eats better and there is always poo in her diaper so I gotta change that anyway. But I find that swaddling wakes her up a lot. So sometimes I swaddle and then feed her some more to get her sleepy again.

Do you swaddle or unswaddle late at night?
