We use Papa Spuds and I looooooove it. We get to pick our order and can have it delivered weekly, or not. We have been interested in a CSA box for what seems like forever, now. </p> <p>We live right near a local farmer's market, and tend to stroll by every Sunday for a quick shop. However, it would be nice to get a good variety of produce each week, especially if it encourages us to try new things. We did a fall share which was my favorite thus far: we got one huge box a month for four months and it contained tons of fall seasonal produce. We got SO much squash we JUST ran out! It came to about $20/week , but we paid a lump sum in the beginning. We also bought a winter frozen share and I wasn't as pleased with that one. And now we're getting a summer mini share, it will be a delivery once a week of seasonal vegetables - I'm so excited! It's $16/box and in the last box I got spinach, greens, beets, oranges, leeks, asparagus and popcorn. It's all organic and some weeks are more plentiful than others. We typically received about 5-6 different things-- a bunch of some type of greens (chard/kale usually), squash (2-3), an herb, potatoes (3-4), tomatoes (4-5), tomatillos (4-5), peppers (3-4), melons (just 1).</p> <p>To be honest our CSA was a bit of a bust, they wound up going belly up half way through the summer.
