But once we moved, we stopped - for two reasons:<br /> (1) I started getting annoyed at the quality and selection of the produce. It helps the farmers so much to get the capital in advance, and we get to try veggies we might not otherwise try, like we never had garlic scapes until they were in our weekly bag. It is all local during the growing season and then they switch to organic produce from all over during the winter or you can discontinue until spring. The one we signed up for is in high demand and usually sells out before it opens to the general public. Instead we just plan to go to the farmers market. We really loved it and it was awesome the first season. But the crops were the same year after year. Ours costs $43/week and supplies a family of 4.
