We also use liners that can be flushed but I prefer to put them in the trash since we have old plumbing. The liners kinda smell so we dragged out the Diaper Genie and refills we received as a baby gift. I loved that it used regular kitchen trash bags, but it filled up pretty fast with twins. So now we just put the dirty diapers in a plastic bag and throw them in the outside garbage as needed.
