He didn't seem to need one before then. But she won't sleep on it. She scoots down and lays flat on her belly. I try to encourage her for the same congestion issue but she won't. She's a great sleeper so I wouldn't want to mess with that. Plus, she just doesn't seem to want anything in her bed. Then when I got frustrated trying to find a latex foam toddler sized pillow I just gave him a standard sized one (we only use latex foam for allergy purposes) around 16 months and he's been good to go. He is still in his crib but has had the toddler rail since he was 20 months old.
