Then, I saw the first line about, "I know it's high maintenance," and I was so confused. Who doesn't use a shopping cart??? I once saw a segment on the news about how dirty shopping carts are. Most of them have fecal matter on it. So gross. I recently bought one off Zulily that's thinner and can fold into its own pouch. I forget the brand though. I have another one that's quilted that I've been using since my oldest was able to sit in a shopping cart. LO wasn't great at sitting up at first so it was nice because it was big and bulky and all the padding helped keep her upright... and if she did tip over a little she wouldn't get hurt. I have a Floppy Seat and love it. It has toy hooks and stuff, and occasionally liv will get sleepy and lay sideways in the cart and snooze. Its soft enough that it acts like a pillow.
