We have the UBV and used the belly bar when she was super little and attached little toys from her activity mat onto it and she loved playing with the toys. I also felt like it was just more secure with the bar

When she got older and we took the stroller out for longer outings we got the snack tray which is great for putting her cup and also feeding her. It's nice when we're out somewhere and there isn't a spare high chair we can just give her food on her snack tray

My kids love the bar! They use it to sit up so they can see more. I got a little Brica snack cup holder that I attached to the bar and it is perfect to put their water bottle or snack and gives them some independence with that. As others mentioned, it's also good for attaching toys, but really the sitting up is the main benefit in my mind.

@twobee: Thanks for letting me know!. I had checked that one out online, but the manual says it does not fit the Britax B Agile Double, boo.

@sunshineandsushi: I bought this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000262HMQ/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1
but we actually haven't ever even opened it - we ended up driving for Christmas instead of flying. Looking at the dimensions, it looked like it should fit, but there's a recent Q&A that says you'd have to take the wheels off :sad:

@twobee: Did you ever find a travel bag for your stroller? We have this exact stroller and I would like to take it when we fly in a few months. I can't find a Britax brand bag, but found one by Baby Jogger ...

@twobee: neither stroller is all that hard to put him in or get him out of (Jeep and Kolcraft), we just lift him up. When he becomes able to climb in and out (right now I like not giving him the choice!) all we have to do is push a button on either side to release that side of the bar- super easy.

We have the single B-Agile and the snack tray, but don't use it yet because LO can't reach (and she's already 13 months!). Not sure when we'll finally be able to use it.

Just a random question - We just got a B-ready (LO isn't due until Jan 2014) but I was wondering..

What is the stroller bar for exactly??

Thanks! @sorrycharlie: @mamabear57: @lemondrop: This might be a stupid question, but do you ever remove the bars/trays to make it easier to get them in and out? Or is that more hassle and not worth it?

I don't know what they look like on your stroller, but our belly bars all have built in snack and cup holders- we've used it constantly since about 1 year old. It keeps him occupied and happy while I'm out running errands- priceless!

When he was smaller, he'd put his feet up on it :)

We have a bugaboo bee and it doesn't have a belly bar. We could buy a little snack tray for it but we don't really need it. My daughter is 12 months and loves to climb up and sit on her own and having a belly bar/snack tray would prevent her from doing that. If I had one, I might use it from time to time but I don't know if it's super necessary.

we have the city mini, but i have a snack tray. it's a little high for her but now that she's older, she pulls herself forward with it to reach any snacks on it. she also likes to hold onto it while we walk :)

We have a Britax B-Agile double. I was thinking about buying a belly bar or a tray, but then I got to thinking about it and I am not sure I see the need. I feel like it would make it hard to get them in and out. Plus, we have to lug our stroller up and down two flights of stairs every time we use it, so any extra weight is something I really consider. But we are just starting solids, so maybe I am underestimating the value of something to put a snack on? And there's not any really great place to hook toys onto, though we make it work - it just means a lot of links for the girls to be able to reach anything.

Relatedly, is there a good travel bag for the B-Agile double? Britax doesn't seem to make one and I am trying to decide if that's just because they assume you'd have to be insane to fly with one.
