I got the stamp once and won't get it again. </p> <p>I got the self inking one and you have to make sure you are putting enough pressure across the whole stamp or you'll get blank spots. Maybe I was a little type A but I just couldn't use an envelope with the stamp not fully legible (especially the address area,the name area is not so important if they can make out some of it). </p> <p>I mainly used the stamp for Christmas cards so it was annoying to waste the envelopes where it didn't print all the way. Luckily, I got extra envelopes with my cards so I didn't have to worry about running out. </p> <p>The idea of having a keepsake for each house we were in was nice initially but practicality wise, it wasn't. </p> <p>Labels are easier, IMO.</p> <p>Oh, also, I can take a few labels and keep it where I keep stamps (like some in my wallet). I can decide whether its time to ditch the labels and get a stamp instead? I think I prefer the look of labels though. I never got a stamp in the past because we were always renting.
