We didn't use everything we got, but we did use a lot! His swing was a big thing, he loved it!

We never use our stroller because we always wear Wombat. It's so disappointing because we paid so much money for a travel system that I said we needed. Guess I should've learned more about baby wearing, but I never heard of it beforehand.

The only thing we didn't use is our hotsling, never felt comfortable on me for some reason.

Yeah, we use pretty much everything. (Except the pack and play, we never really used that).
Bouncer, swing, playmat... all totally used. He never liked hanging out in the Bumbo, but it was good for when he started solids, before we got a real booster seat. We have two exersaucers (both borrowed), plus a jumperoo and a doorway jumper thing, and we use all of them pretty much daily. (and they live in different parts of the house, like the exersaucer that lives directly in front of my shower)
Oh, we never used our Moby because I never felt secure with it. And I hated our hotsling. Loved the bjorn and the Ergo though.

We use pretty much everything. Up until now (4 months) we used the swing, bouncy chair, and play mat the most. Now that she's a bit older we are adding in the high chair and jumper. We have a bumbo but haven't really used it yet. We got it used for about $10 so if it doesn't work out I'm not upset.

I have been very, very careful in what I've chosen for her and I think it's been wise! We have a rock n play, a pack n play, a play gym mat, a bumbo, plenty of toys and a stroller frame that works with the infant seat for now. I love that we went more simple with everything!

She is getting an exersaucer or jumparoo from Santa and I think that it will be very well used.

i bought charlie way too many toys, but i sold or gave away more than half of them. we did use the exersaucer, jumperoo, swing, bouncer, bumbo, and all three strollers (stroller frame, city mini, umbrella stroller).

could we have lived without them? yes except for the exersaucer, bouncer and stroller frame which we used a ton. but we sold everything so it wasn't too much of a loss. i think with babies you don't know what they're going to like so you tend to overbuy.

I have tried really hard to keep things to the necessities. Our house isn't big enough to add in a bunch of baby stuff that we don't use. We skipped the swing, but have a bouncer, a play mat, exersaucer, and doorway jumper. We use them all daily. We have a jogging stroller and travel system. We have about a dozen books and a handful of baby toys. (Although books and non-plastic, non-noisy toys are pretty much always welcomed.)

The only thing I would have done differently from the beginning would be getting a Graco Snugride instead of a less popular infant seat so that I could use it with the jogger and skip the travel system stroller.

I'm sure with Christmas coming up we'll be getting a whole lot more. We're going to pack away the playmat and get a foam floor mat so that DS has more room to crawl and play.

We also try to keep clothes to a minimum too. 4 pajamas per size, a 4-5 pack of onesies per size, 4-5 pants/shorts and about a dozen tops plus a few misc. pieces. We get a lot of use out of the clothes when we don't overdo it, and 2 loads of laundry (mixed - baby and mom's) each weeks keeps up with everything.

I definitely wasted some money...like with the Baby Bjorn. But that will come in handy once we have #2 I imagine. I bought silly things like a bottle warmer, bug netting and rain cover for the infant seat, and bath thermometer! I think sometimes you waste money because your baby ends up not liking things, too. My LO didn't like the Bumbo or the pack-n-play but those things are really useful for a lot of people.

When we registered, I thought it was pretty silly that we needed a bouncer and a swing. But really, we use them both pretty often. That and the bumbo, and the stroller, and the baby bjorn.

I guess my LO has such a short attention span that we like to switch things up a lot!

Do you have a lot of baby gear or do you keep it simple? Do you use it all?
