@BeachMama: yeah I think it helps a little. I don't wash it out. I don't rub a ton in, just kind of rub it into my hands and then on her hair. Her hair used to stick straight up and I trained it to go down using the coconut oil as 'gel' lol. I've never tried using it likea treatment, putting a lot in and then washing it out, but that could work. When I use the conditioner I wash her hair first in tbe bath and then let the conditioner sit while I wash her. You could probably do it that way with coconut oil too.

@ jerricabenton - I know someone else that puts coconut oil in their daughter's hair. She combs it in and leaves it for a few hours before washing it out. Does it help?

LO's hair sounds kind of like your LO's. She doesn't have a ton, but she's got that patch on the back that's coarse and dry feeling. I use Jason's kid conditioner. It's the banana one. It helps a little and it makes the rest of her hair very soft. It smells good too. Sometimes I comb a little coconut oil into that spot, too.

Not yet, but if her hair stays this curly, I'm going to have to start using conditioner eventually. Otherwise when her hair gets longer I'm sure it will turn into a frizzy disaster.

LO has a lot of hair and we use conditioner on it; same brand as our shampoo (and same as @MrsJazz uses): California Baby Super Sensitive Conditioner.

If her hair is anything like mine, I will definitely need to use conditioner on it.

I only use conditioner on LOs hair--but her hair is coarse and frizzy--so shampoo just dries it out even more. Right now I'm using California Baby Super Sensitive Conditioner.

I wash DD's hair about every other day. She doesn't have a lot of hair, but the hair on the back of her head has been kinda coarse and frizzy-ish. I'm thinking about using conditioner on her hair. Anyone else use it? What kind do you like?
