We do aquaphor at every night time diaper, and we use triple paste if he's red. If not then I don't usually do anything for daytime diapers unless I remember!

Coconut oil almost every change. Sometimes I use some BabyGanics protective ointment (like Aquaphor) if she seems a little red.

We're an aquaphor family too. So far we're using it every diaper change since the little dude had his first diaper rash.

We cloth diaper and use coconut oil at almost every diaper change. Now that the weather is warmer, though, my boys are getting a lot more naked time. Air is the best preventative measure for diaper rash, in my experience.

@allison: @boiledpnut: Our cloth shop said to still use a fleece liner even with a cloth diaper safe balm. We have all Cotton Babies diapers and the warranty is void if you use any diaper rash cream.....so since I've already made a couple of warranty claims, and I want to be able to keep doing so for the full first year, the liners are important for me. But luckily since using cloth diapers and just water-wet cloth wipes, they hardly ever get rashes anymore.

@MerryC: We use the Bottom Balm, too, and I thought it was safe for cloth diapers?

I use it after every poop. When he just pees, I don't wipe him, so the balm stays on from the last poop change.

Not unless red, esp since it requires a liner now that we use cloth. We use angel baby bottom balm. Its awesome for when they get little scratches on their face or elsewhere too...usually heals them up within a day or so.

I didn't use to at all, but I switched cloth diaper detergents, and it makes her skin a little red. So, I've started putting coconut oil on about every other diaper change. It makes her smell delicious and gives her suuuuuper soft skin!!
