I work in the pharmaceutical industry, and there are alot of studies that are done to figure out the stability of the drug. I have an injection that I can't use after it expires. We called the pharmacy one day because it was expired and I had a really bad migraine and needed it, and they said it could be dangerous. I'm wondering, do you use OTC meds after their expiration date? I usually will as long as it's not too far past the date. I've read multiple articles that have said the printed expirations dates are always really really conservative.
