Getting fresh ground pepper at restaurants made me want to get a pepper mill but didn't want to buy a pepper mill. I got one of those small bunny ears pepper mills as a wedding gift and that's when I started using a pepper mill. Definitely got me to prefer fresh ground pepper. I bought one of those inexpensive disposable salt and pepper packs at Costco. I don't want regular iodine salt anymore. I use sea salt now.
