I don't use mascara much, so I haven't switched mine out in a long time. I tend to use my Benefit Dandelion blush until there's nothing left as well as my new foundation. I replace my mascarra once every 1-2 months because I remember in high school a science teacher showed us the little bugs that basically are living on your brush! Especially if you pump the brush in &amp; out a lot. Yuck! My rule is as long as it still smells fine then I keep it. I have two blushes, one for the winter and one for the summer and I've probably had them both for about 3-4 years. They're not even 1/2 way gone! Things like mascara, foundation, eye liner are easy since I normally run out of those things. But what about stuff that doesn't run out? Do you have a rule for throwing out make-up? </p>
