I have I think 5 sets of Christmas dishes (just cheap ones like they sell at Walgreens mostly, though all are from Goodwill so I think one actually is a bit nicer). I might have 6, I forget. I use them for Christmas parties, which I love having. I don't use them for every day use though, because I'm weird and OCD about dishes and have to have small, separate dishes for each item. (i.e. a small bowl for my beans, a small plate for my pork chop, etc)

I have a few Lenox Christmas china place settings and other items. I registered for them and LOVE them. We use it everyday from Thanksgiving to New Years. I love Christmas, so it made total sense to me.

I have 8 place settings of the Nikko Christmas dishes that I inherited from my grandmother. We had such a big family and she had so many dishes, there were 3 of us girls who got that many place settings. If we host anything for Christmas, I do like to use them. For other holidays, we just use plain dishes.

Nope; we don't have any fancy china! We like our regular everyday white set from BBB! I feel like they can be casual every night dinner but also host people over.

No but I would like to get some now that we are going to be home on Christmas Day, just the three of us. Going to go shopping for some the day after Christmas for next year.

No, but when we have a house that could host holiday dinners or parties I would consider it. Like you is rather just get some serving pieces and use the regular place settings.

My MIL was thinking about starting a holiday plate collection for me, like giving me one or two pieces every Christmas, but Dh was like, we live in a one bedroom apt. Please wait.

Do you have holiday dishes or serveware? What pattern do you have and how often do you use?

Growing up, my mom had Nikko Happy Holidays and I loved using them for Christmas. I am considering getting a serving dish to use around the holidays because I don't have the space for a whole new set of plates, even if it is just a setting of 4.
