<description>&#60;p&#62;It seems like over the past couple years, the word 'gift' is being used more and more as an action.  (i.e.  &#34;We were gifted our china for our wedding.&#34;)  I know it's not a new thing, but with the Christmas commericals that are starting to air, I'm hearing it more and more frequently.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I'm personally not a fan.  Am I the only one with this pet peeve?
