I'll text at stop lights or if I'm stuck in traffic. I don't understand how people can text and drive. It's impossible to keep your eyes on the road while typing correctly!! My hubby does all sorts of things while he's on the phone and it freaks me out so much I get upset. I've told him everytime we're in the car to put it away, but he still does it. Sigh. However, I don't use it for calls or texting while driving. Texting, I really don't know how people do it, and calls, I honestly notice my concentration leave the road when I'm talking on the phone. We also have a law that you're not allowed to use cell phones at all while driving, no matter what age. It's called distracted driving law and if the police feels you're distracted (phone or otherwise) you can get a ticket. I'll admit I have sent a "yes" or "ok" at a stop sign or light but nothing crazy. My BFF texts like crazy while driving and it freaks me out! I hear too many bad things that happen when people text and drive. Our state just passed a law for people 21 and under, that they are not allowed to even talk on the phone while driving.
