I was a psychology major with a second major in art and I don't use either at all. But a liberal arts education can be applied to a lot of jobs, I just did all my learning on the job.<br /> If I could do it all over again, I'd have had a more useful major. As lo gets older we do more art, and I do some art myself. Not as much as I'd like, but there's just no time for that.</p> <p>I try not to use the therapy part in my personal life (I'm a sahm so no career right now). I do use some of the concepts when I read the paper though, and I'm amazed at how many people think that the economy is really simple and that they could do a better job running it than whomever is in power. </p> <p>In any case, I think that most economics courses are pretty useless. In retrospect, I probably would have benefited more from a major that I could use in my career or daily life.
