As long as the fever isn't high enough to cause any damage, if they're able to sleep through it they should be fine. I made this mistake a few weeks ago and I learned my lesson. She had a temp of 102 so I gave her Tylenol ... But in the process got her all worked up when she was otherwise sound asleep. I think next.time I'll let her sleep .... I just took her temp after breakfast and it is even higher than 103.
