In the morning - During the week? Yes. On the weekends, no.
In the afternoon - I wake him by 4, unless we have plans to be out late in the evening.

Nope. DS is 2.5 and I let him sleep however long he wants, even for naps. Last month, he was napping for 4+ hours. It was crazy. However, if he does sleep in or naps longer than normal, it doesn't affect his nighttime sleep. That's why I let him sleep. If it did, I'd probably wake him.

Daycare days until 7:30.
Weekends sleep as long as you want kid. Although afternoon naps - I usually try to get him up by 4:30-5pm because any later & he won't sleep (5pm is pushing it as it is).

I would never dream of it. His typical wake up time is between 6-7am, usually closer to 6. On the extremely rare occasions he sleeps later, I revel in it. And figure he needs that extra sleep for whatever reason like I do.

As I'm sure this will change as I'm typing this, I do wake her up by 7:30 if she's still sleeping, otherwise she won't take a nap by 1 and she has to be up by 2:30 at the latest or bedtime begins a big ordeal. And if she doesn't take a nap....grouch city.

My son usually is up like clockwork between 7-730am but the last few days he's been sick and sleeping in until 830am. It screws with naps a bit (he's still tired for them bc he's sick but won't easily go down or won't stay down as long as we'd like) but since he's sick we are rolling with it. If it's just a random sleeping in, I usually don't let him go past 8am - like to stick with his schedule within a 30 minute window.

My son has been staying in bed until 7:30 on weekends which is awesome (I actually don't think he is sleeping this long, but it's unclear) but then he won't nap which is much less awesome. So I might at some point soon have to choose between sleeping in and napping, and I really don't know which one I'll choose!

no way. I did once, and then I kicked myself. I work part time, so on my days I do stay at home, heck, if I get another hour of sleep or to sit in the bed and read the news I TOTALLY DO. She's still taking two naps so typically I just push the naps back an hour.
The morning quiet is glorious

We do - during the week we have to wake him up at 6am, and then he naps from 12:30-2:30. On weekends we let him sleep in but not much past 7:00, a little later if he was up a lot in the night, or it throws everything off. For naps we'll wake him up by 3:30.

I wake him by 7:30. If he has a late or long afternoon nap, I'll wake him by 3:30 pm. We've just gotten him onto a good nap/sleep schedule this last month, and I don't want to mess around with it too much. We use naps times as prompters to really watch for his sleep cues. So the nap might vary from one day to the next by 30 mins or more.

Occasionally one of my twins will sleep in, especially if it was a rough night of "sleep" (or, not sleeping). It's rough but I will wake them if it gets to be 8, because otherwise their naps will be totally de-synchronized. I rely on them napping at the same time so I can breathe and eat and pee without them both shouting for me non stop. If one is sick, I might let him/her sleep as long as they want, but then I just accept that they won't nap at the same time and I won't have a break that day.

If your LO sleeps until a certain time, do you wake them so that it doesn't mess with the rest of their schedule for the day, or do you let them sleep? It doesn't happen very often but sometimes LO2 will sleep in, so I will make sure I wake her by 9am...otherwise she won't want to nap but then want to go to bed at 5:45 and that's way too early.
