When I was a freshman in college, I was in a car accident that left me looking pretty gnarly for a while, and it left me with a bit of scar tissue on/around one cheek bone. C makes a great model. Shes a cheeser and she hams for the camera big time. We did it in exchange for free stuff, mostly. I took the pictures myself. We're taking a break for a while due to our big move and there being so much going on right now.</p> <p>Being a model doesnt mean that she cant also be a concert pianist or a scientist or president. I feel differently about this than I do pageants (which emphasize the lash and hair extensions, fake tan and take teeth and adult costumes on tiny children)....there are so many local print oppurtunities for even "regular" looking kids.</p> <p>My little sister had friends who all went to this "modeling school" in our hometown, and she really wanted to go, so my mom let her go to classes. </p> <p>Somehow, through that, the modeling agency booked my little sis a job with FritoLay corp (which was based in Dallas), and she did 1 Cheetos print ad that took 2 hours total, and she made $3000. She was 10! </p> <p>That was the only real "job" she had, but my parents saved that money for her until she went to college, and then matched it with another $3000 and got her a newer used car.
