We still warm it up. I need to start breaking the pattern though. But he doesn't LOVE cold milk. He will drink it in small batches but definitely prefers warm.

He's an all temp baby. He doesn't really seem to prefer one over the other but I do know we try to give him a warm bottle at night in bed.

Room temp, when we're home, I often take it out the fridge and let it warm to room temp so it's ready when she's hungry.

I think I'll start with room temp and hope for the best. Recently read on a blog that if you start with a bottle warmer, they get used to that, and likely won't easily take a bottle otherwise (say if you're shopping and have to do it as is).

Of course, we'll see! No LO yet ;) But definitely not buying a bottle warmer.

We were mixing Madailein's bottles on demand, but we switched to Kirkland brand and it's bubblier. We bought the Dr. Brown's formula pitcher and it works magic for the bubbles, now we refrigerate and for the most part she takes them cold no problem.

When I was bottle feeding I always warmed my LO's bottle. Now she only takes the breast.
I've been warming her solids up for her bc little booger won't eat anything cold. -.- Her food has to be puree'd to perfection and nice and warm in order for her to eat.

DS gets body temperature bottles, so we warm them. I've posted this before, but what we do is prep the bottle with however many ounces of water, then heat the water and add the powder. I don't like to premix large amounts of formula and refridgerate it, because it separates. When we're away from home, we just prep a thermos with the right temp water, it stays the correct temp for hours. Then just pour in the bottle and add powder.

Mavi hates cold milk. So we warm it up all the time. Even room temperature doesn't cut it.

I always warm Jovani's bottle unless we are out somewhere and i dont have a way to do so. The NICU told me to just turn the faucet on to as hot as i can get the water, fill up a cup and sit the bottle in it, so it will get to like room temperature and he likes it that way.

Nope, room temperature all the way. I was sooooo tempted to get the Dr Brown's Formula Mixer/Pitcher but decided not to because we would need to refrigerate (unless we use it every time we prepare a bottle), and we didn't want Claire to get too used to a certain temperature — whether cold or warm — so that preparing bottles will be easier when we are away from home.

It took forever to get RJ to take cold milk... it was such a pain that I swore with the next baby they'd take every bottle cold from the very beginning. I remember being so stressed out about it, but now that his only drinks are from straw cups straight out of the fridge, it's so hard to think back and remember what it was like.

When we were supplementing with formula, I made mixed on the spot at room temperature. With breast milk, I feed it to him at room temperature and straight out of the fridge. Luckily he is not picky and will take food given to him at any temp.

We have to. Charlie will resist drinking cold milk, and will end up drooling/spitting out the bulk of it. Once it's warmed she'll suck it right down. We use the "bowl of warm water" method, since I'm a cheapo when it comes to baby devices.

All of the above. When S came home from the NICU, I gave him all types of bottles of breastmilk specifically because I didn't want him to only take one temperature. After the first couple of weeks I quit warming bottles entirely, so he'd either get cold or room temperature. Now 90% of his bottles are room temperature, but the morning bottle is cold. He doesn't always like it, but he'll take it.

The recent thread on the Brezza Water Kettle got me thinking about warming bottles.

When I weaned Charlie at 9 months and started giving him formula, I used this Dr. Brown's formula pitcher because it got rid of all the clumps:

http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Browns-Formula-Mixing-Pitcher/dp/B001I481LM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1319485117&sr=8-1

But that meant refrigerating the formula, which meant warming each bottle. Charlie didn't like cold bottles anyway.

A couple of months ago Charlie started taking his morning bottle straight out of the fridge, but we still warm his nap and bedtime bottle (weaning him off the bottle is another story).

Do you warm your LO's bottle? Serve it cold? Or room temp?
