But, I'm a lazy adult. So... when you buy new curtains or things like that, do you pre-wash them before hanging? If so, do you use detergent or just put them through with no soap, since they aren't technically 'dirty'? </p> <p>I'm adding some trim to some Ikea curtains I bought so I think In need to wash first in case they shrink, right? </p> <p>My usual is to just hang things straight out of the package, wrinkles and all, and wait for gravity to pull them out. </p>
