I don't put plastic in the dishwasher, so by hand. But I actually do a lot of dishes by hand throughout the day and DS only uses 2 cups a day.

Hand wash. It's sort of a habit left over from bottle days I guess? She only uses 2 cups per day though so it really isn't that big of a deal. We have a routine. One of us gives LO her bath, puts her down for bed, and washes her cups. The other puts all the toys away and feeds the animals. It just doesn't seem like a dishwasher would get the straws very clean, plus we don't run it every day, and just... meh. NBD.

Yes. Everything is washed by hand when you don't own a dishwasher.

We use the dishwasher. But we also try to use one cup for water and one for milk each day.

@twodoghouse: same here. I have no patience for hand washing things that can easily go in the dishwasher!

Both, but mainly by hand. If I happen to be running the dishwasher and there's room, then I throw them in there. I prefer to wash all the parts by hand though.

We dishwasher everything (even bottles when they were on them). We run the dishwasher every night and have plenty of cups to get through the day for both kids. I don't have the energy to hand wash things throughout the day!!

Depends on the cup and if we have other clean ones. Mostly I put them in the dishwasher (but still have to wash the straw by hand). I'm also pretty good and just using two per day (one water, one milk). I'm guessing that will be harder to stay on top of with two though.

It's amazing how many cups my girls go through a day despite my best efforts to only use one cup a day. I'll have a sink full by the end of the day! If I put them in the dishwasher I would have to run it twice as much, so I end up hand washing them all as I can. Do you wash your LO's cups by hand or use the dishwasher?
