And since I cook 99.99999% of the meals, DH mostly does the dishes.</p> <p>I greatly, greatly prefer to have them done ASAP whereas DH doesn't mind leaving them for an hour or two. Otherwise, they get all encrusted with leftovers and they are a million times harder to wash. Plus if you leave them, sometimes you get flies or fruit flies!</p> <p>Sometimes I will rinse the food off and leave them in the sink if I'm not feeling like doing them right away.
