I have a Jawbone UP 2 and I love it. It looks a little nicer than most fit trackers, and is smaller. I wish I had the next model up with the HR function, but I love the sleep tracker on mine. And it is good motivation to move!

@looch: it counts swimming laps, tracks other activities like steps, running, biking, football. It tracks sleep. That's about it. The main feature is that it can track swimming. Like I said, I wouldn't have bought it or myself, but feel obligated to use it since it was a gift with good intentions. :silly:

@lamariniere: I have a fitbit, I didnt wear it during my pregnancy because it wasnt comfortable and I didnt know how safe it was to keep it on. But I plan to go back to wearing it when i go back to work. I tracked steps, miles walked, stair cases climbed. It was also useful to track my sleep patterns and water intake

@Mama Bird: he he. My DH got it for me as a way of saying he was ok with me joining the gym (which I had been talking about and not doing). So it was thoughtful, but the tracker was not something I wanted!

I asked for a tracksuit once as a gift, just because I like to wear one around the house. Got a fitbit instead. I thought about wearing it, decided I know how much I exercise and sleep as it is, and gave it away as a birthday present. I have second thoughts though... I hope it wasn't an insulting "I think you're out of shape" birthday present. It was meant well but I hope it didn't come across that way!

@2PeasinaPod: @chillybear: no one I know uses the social media aspect, but I could see how that would be motivating!

@youboots: mine supposedly tracks sleep, but it doesn't seem that accurate. I think it tracks how much I move because if I tell it I'm going to bed, but read for 20 minutes beforehand, it tells me I went to sleep right away, even though I was just very still.

@T.H.O.U.: @looch: mine doesn't do heart rate. It's very basic.

@Jackiedavis87: mine has a replaceable battery that supposedly lasts 4-6 months. I would be annoyed if I had to think about charging it all the time!

@nana87: I do like the way mine looks, and I'm normally not a watch person. It only tells the approximate time though, so it's a little weird. (It's a Misfit Shine 2).

I have a Fitbit charge HR I wear it 24/7 except for showering. I've been using it to lose weight, so mostly to see how many calories I'm burning plus making sure I fulfill my workout goals daily. I like it, except that I have to charge it every 3 days, I find that super annoying.

I do not, I thought I wanted one, but then I realized what I really wanted/needed was a heart rate monitor and I got that for like $35 to wear when I spin.

If someone bought me one as a gift, I'd wear it.

I have an apple watch.

- Heart Rate monitor with a goal to exercise (as it measures with your HR) for 30 min a day.
- Calories burned not just steps

I wear the Fitbit flex. I love it. My goal is to walk 3.25 miles a day and it tracks that for me. It also tracks my sleep. I got a pretty band for it. I'm stats oriented so it's a good motivator for me

I used to have a fitbit and wore it all the time (except when showering or dressing up with a nicer watch) until the battery pooped out/stopped charging. it helped motivate me at first, but then I got complacent ;) I liked it for keeping track of my sleep/lo's wake ups though as well as steps. It was good when I was running to keep track of my speed, distance, etc.

I have the FitBit Flex, and I wear it, but I rarely track anything. i kind of wear it out of habit now, and I forget to look at the app and track my progress. I should more often though, when I to track it, it motivates me to get up and moving a lot more!

I have a FitBit Charge, and I love it. It does keep me motivated to meet my step goal each day, and there's a tracker within the app that lets you know if you've moved 250 each hour. My goal is always to meet that for 10 hours so that I'm not sedentary for too long.

I also run, and when I was training for my half marathon, I was excited when I would double my goal for the day. I also have a lot of friends who have one, and we do weekly challenges. It's funny to see how close we are and what we'll do to keep moving in order to beat the other person out.

I have the fitbit Charge HR... I wear in 24/7 except for when I shower. Before the 3rd trimester aches and pains hit me hard it kept me motivated to keep walking 2 miles at lunch each day. I loved joining in on a weekly step challenge that some friends would run each week. I also really like the sleep tracking feature. When I first got it my LO was not great at sleeping through the night and by seeing when i was "active" I was to keep track of her wakings.

What do you track with it? What do you like about it? What do you dislike? Do you wear it all the time, or just when exercising?

I received one as a surprise gift, but it's not something I ever wanted or expressed interest in. :silly: The good thing about it is that I can wear it when swimming, so at least it keeps me motivated for that and times my workout. Other than that, I'm not sure that it's very useful.
