I fell off of my bike while riding around in the neighborhood. I freaked out because there was a car behind me, and I ran into the curb. Luckily my glasses broke my fall or else I would have suffered much more than a bruise and scraped cheek. Now I wear my helmet every time and so does DH. DH and I have had many heated exchanges about this. This morning he was late so he biked to work--I left a couple of minutes before him and he passed me on his bike and I yelled out, "You should be wearing a helmet!"
