On my 30th birthday, my husband gave me a 3-band ring which represented my birthday (3 for 30) and also the fact that we were about to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. One band is plain white gold, representing something simple, equivalent to our beginnings. The second band is a rose gold which is hammered, to represent the "bumpy road" that we always try to make it through. The third band is a sapphire eternity band, representing all of the shiny and beautiful things we have to look forward to in life.</p> <p>Cheesy, yes, but my husband designed it all on his own and shared the meaning with me.
