I hated doing the dishes back then. Then my mom brought me a bunch of pairs and I randomly started using them, and I wear them every single time I do the dishes now, even when just rinsing dishes for the dishwasher. I now do not mind doing dishes. I guess all along I just hated getting my hands wet! As a mom I also like the ability to stop in the middle of a load, take off the gloves and stir what's on the stove or pour a drink for RJ or whatever.
