Every year, our parish church has a lovely mass, out in the graveyard on a summer Sunday evening, called the Blessing of the Graves. It's the only mass of the year I personally like- its almost more of a community catch up, kids playing everywhere etc, than a real ceremony. Anyhoo, a few yrs back, my SIL came for the first time. She was about 6 months pregnant but her bump was quite large even for that. She had pale coloured leggings and a tight fitting long-sleeved t shirt on, but the t shirt wouldn't have gone past her hips. Now they were thick enough leggings to conceal everything, but I just thought it seemed a little clingy for a basically religious occasion? Her figure was lovely at the time, she was all bump with no other real extra weight, but still... I now wear leggings as pants, but my criteria are just a bit different-- I make sure that the shirt covers the CROTCH rather than the butt. I don't mind if a bit of the bottom of my butt shows. Probably because it's so flat that you can't even really tell it's the beginning of my butt :P</p> <p>I invested in a really nice pair of maternity leggings from Pea in the Pod that are super thick but VERY stretchy (and i got them a size up from my normal size) and they have back pockets, so I wear them as pants even if the butt and crotch show a little. They were expensive (I scored them at the outlet, but they were STILL so expensive! Originally $80 I think! but I paid like $60.) but I wear them at least 4x a week.
