I donated almost all of my clothes. Now, i'm in tights and shirts that I can button down so I can nurse.

I figure when I'm back to Pre-Prego weight, I'll be wearing work clothes and I can buy some new clothes! By the time, I get back -- who knows, styles will change.

heck no. Im wearing my pre-preg clothes and make it a point to not live in sweatpants (dont get me wrong. I wear them, just not all the time) or the button down shirt unbuttoned with a tank underneats (have you ever noticed thats what moms are ALWAYS wearing in commercials?!). I wouldnt say Im necessarily a trendy dresser. More classic. A lot of J Crew, Ralph Lauren, etc. I also live in NYC where this is common, so to each their own

@Andrea: I'm hoping once I lose the baby weight I'll dress a little more stylish again. I think that's a big part of the problem, I'm wearing my sister's hand me downs because I don't want to spend money on clothes that I hopefully will be too thin to wear soon .

@artbee: My mom dresses trendier than me now! Whenever I try to pick out clothes for her, she says they are too old. LOL. Growing up though, I never felt like she dressed trendy. I think that goes down the priority list when you're taking care of a young child. But when the child is grown, then you will probably pay more attention again? I see that is what happened to my mom.

@Andrea: Luckily I'm not wearing mom jeans yet!

My mom is pretty stylish (when she wants to be and isn't just wearing a tshirt and jeans) so I guess for me mommy clothes are different. Just a more conservative version of my previous self.

I guess I am the odd one out, because I still wear all kinds of jewelry and my son doesn't touch it (he's 1).

The scarves are cute, I like that one that buttons on the side, I can totally even knit that myself!

I have to buy a bunch of magazines and check things out. I used to be more in touch with fashion. So what are the fashion trends at the moment? Is it still skinny jeans?

My style has changed but I actually think I'm more stylish now. I told myself that I wasn't going to go down the path to "mom jeans" and have been trying to keep it up. I do, however, dress more comfortably now so more stretchy knit items and definitely less high heels and jewelry.

What are mommy clothes? Like mom jeans? I have changed the way I dress because it is more for comfort now versus before I would wear something uncomfortable for fashions sake. I used to also wear high heels and more jewelry but it is harder to do that now around my LO so I only wear that stuff when I go out at night after she is asleep.

I have been wearing neutral colors like gray, navy, white, brown, black primarily for years, even though I'm only 24. I am very into great basics...skinny jeans, cardigan sweaters, boy tanks, heels or flats, so they are fashionable but fairly classic, just like before DD was born.

I do love looking at accessories though. :) If you go to department store websites (neiman marcus, nordstrom) or instyle.com and look at new arrivals or new trends you can get lots of inspiration/tips.

I don't think I wear mommy clothes...I haven't worn trends in years, largely because I've learned over time that I have a body that needs to be dressed a certain way. I have broad shoulders, so halter style tops are out, I have wide hips, so I wear full trousers to balance out the bottom half, that sort of thing.

I recently cleaned out my closet and ended up getting rid of a lot of my prepregnancy clothes. Even if I thought I'd lose the weight and be able to wear some of the things again, they just seemed too short or tight for a mom to wear. I still have the same style that I used to, just a little more conservative I guess. (Not that I dressed slutty before... just younger).

Has your wardrobe changed since the baby came, or do you still dress the same?
