I wore them all day for the first few weeks, then stopped having leakage unless I'm super full. Then I started wearing them only when I left the house, and now not at all.

I stopped wearing them pretty early around 4 months. I didn't have let down on the other side unless I was engorged.

Same as Rubies.

I am not even sure I need them, but I am at the office all day most of the week and I'd hate to have an "accident" here! I can probably stop wearing them at home though, but now I'm just in the habit of putting them in whenever I change my bra.

Same as Rubies. I used to have to change them more often, but as time has passed I've needed them less and really would probably be okay if I didn't use them anymore.

I have to wear them when I nurse because I still leak on the other side (at 3 months). But it's getting less so hopefully I can ditch them soon. I only wore them for 3 or 4 months last time, but I know girls who had to the entire time they nursed.

This post just confirms for me again that I don't produce nearly enough milk. I wore the breast pads at the beginning b/c I thought that was what I was supposed to do. Then I realized that I don't leak at all, so there was no point in using nursing pads at all. I haven't touched a pair of them since LO was 2 weeks old.

Thanks guys... so far I am going through atleast 2 pairs a day sometimes more, and I also wake up with huge milk stains on my sheets ugh... I never knew breastfeeding could be so messy!

I'm just 14 days into things here, but I do wear nursing pads all day. I have washable ones. I used to have to change them more often, but now I wear like one or two per day. I also use a burp cloth or a baby wash cloth tucked into my bra when I'm nursing because baby likes to spit a lot of the milk out or sometimes it drips while he's getting started.

Overnight I go through lots of pads. They get soaked and I (and my bed covers) am always covered with milk in the morning. I have one pair of 'soaker pads' for overnight, but even though they could potentially soak up a lot, I don't like to put the wet pads back on after I nurse in the night. I feel so yucky when I wake up and can't wait for a shower. I bathe baby too because I feel like we're both covered in milk by morning.

the first couple of months i wore them all day and went through a couple each day. now i don't wear them unless i'm going out since i'm home all day. i just use a burp cloth to catch let down on the other boob when i'm nursing. it's so freeing not to have to wear a bra + nursing pads!

Currently, 9months post-partum, I wear a new pair in the morning after my shower and it lasts me all day, night, and until my shower the next day. I don't even think I need them anymore (no leakage) but I wear them just in case.

When LO was 0-5 months, I probably went through 2-4 pairs a day...I wore them all day, having to change to new ones because I leaked so much. I put a fresh pair right before bed and changed again in the morning.

I've been using Lansinoh disposable nursing pads and I was just wondering if I'm using them right. Do you wear them all day? Or only at night? Also how many do you go through in a day?
