I used to. I used the moby wrap for the early months, and moved up to the Ergo...then it got too warm and DS started to protest.

I use the moby a ton and it works great for LO and I. She sleeps well and i get a lot done. It is hard to do a lot of bending to put pots away and things like that. It is great to be mobile and have two hands free though.

I don't. I wish I could, though! But she's not a fan of being "hung"...She would rather be carried!

I used to wear LO in her carrier, but carrying heavy things gives me migraines so I had to stop :( Now I put her in the bouncer, jumper, or something when I have things to do around the house.

I tried a sling when he was under 1 month, I'm not sure if I was doing it right but it didn't go that well for us. At 6 weeks we were able to put him in the bjorn - he's been in there a lot since then. I love it and he loves it. I'll vacuum with him in there, put him in there when I'm at the grocery store (hates the car seat), clean house, bake (never if I'm using the stove) and more. Now that he is 4 1/2 months I should try the sling again but the bjorn is so easy and comfortable.

We have a maya sling, and I often wear him in this while cooking or cleaning. We also have an ergo. I think the sling is nice and easier for short-term wearing, like around the house, but I can't wear it for too long. Ergo is much more comfortable for outings.

For the first 2 months, my baby lived in the moby. I could even sew at my sewing machine with her in it. She's 4 months old now and almost 17 lbs., now she rides on my hip.

My LO is 6 weeks old and I think I want to wear her so I can start to tidy the house, cook a little more and just give my arms a rest.
Do you ever wear your baby around the house? Do you use a carrier or wrap?
