I usually wear it inside my jacket, then pull my jack on over it... but with him on my chest he keeps me plenty warm and I don't need to zip up my jacket. That will probably change as it gets cooler though.

I did that, and I never really found a good solution. I basically didn't wear my cute coats all winter. I just dressed her warmly, and kind of suffered myself. I might get a big coat for my next go around.

@bpcmarj: Yeah, I never ended up getting a maternity coat...now I can see how it would have been useful!

I plan on wearing her inside my jacket, and I will probably wear a maternity coat when I have her on, too. This way, I can at least somewhat zip it up. I imagine she wouldn't be comfortable over my coat.

@Sammyfab: @Honeybee: Both good ideas, thanks! I guess I'm a little bummed that the Moby won't be as useful as I thought it would be, since soon it'll be too cold to just do layers, and I can't keep stealing my husband's jacket, lol. but for today it should work! :)

I wear DS inside my jacket, but I also have one that zips up over both of us... I think it might be hard to get a good fit with the Moby on top fo your jacket. Can you do a couple layers, instead (like you in a sweater, then the Mogy with baby, then the jacket)?

I would think it would be uncomfortable to wear the moby outside of your jacket. Your LO also wouldn't benefit from your body heat that way. If you're just going for a walk around the neighbourhood (and not really out in public), could you wear your DH's jacket?

Now that it's getting cold out, I want to keep using my Moby wrap but I don't know whether to wear LO under my jacket or over my jacket. I don't have a jacket large enough to zip around him, so I end up leaving my jacket open, which is chilly for me! Is it okay to use the Moby over my jacket?
