In some ways I feel like I'm on the edge of being old to TTC, we've all heard about the dreaded drop in fertility at 35. But I wasn't in the position to start any earlier than now. </p> <p>In my 20s I struggled a ton financially and had no serious relationships. At 29 I changed my life by going to grad school and moving to another state for a job. I fell into a really complicated relationship and met and became best friends with my now husband. 2 years ago the bad relationship ended, I bought a house, and DH and I got together.</p> <p>So yeah, I wish I had more time, fertility-wise. That said, I kind of wish the economy would have been in our favor to start earlier. I also had a miscarriage and would have had a baby 6 month earlier but I don't think it would have made a difference in terms of our stability, etc, had that pregnancy survived. It took us two years and two miscarriages to get pregnant with Charlie. I wonder how different my life would have been if that first pregnancy made it. I would have been a mom at 29. </p> <p>I think the way it worked out was best since we were more financially secure once Charlie came along. But I think I would have been ok if I did have a child 2 years earlier than I did. </p> <p>What about you?
