I go about the same amount since being in the 2nd tri. I just work out differently- I used to be an avid Hot Yoga-er about 4x a week and now I do the elliptical for 30 mins followed by 30 mins of weights, I do that 4x a week.

Way less. I used to run on the weekends and do Pilates during the week but now I am lucky if I get out for a walk on the weekends. I can't say I miss it though, I really hate exercising.

Only 5w3d but so far I have kept it up. I probably will skip the most intense classes that I take for a while though. Too nervous, but still doing my weights and cardio at least 4 times a week.

I was fairly diligent while I was pregnant and I worked out ~5 times per week. I think part of it was that the gym was my home away from home and I often went to hang out with my friends (and get a good workout in at the same time!).

Much less. I have (or had) a SCH, and my midwife advised that I take it easy. I wasn't gung-ho about workouts, I mostly just did Jillian Michaels workouts, but after that I stuck to long (brisk) walks and prenatal yoga. Now I barely have the energy for that (and it hurts!) but I'm still trying to force myself to do both a few times a week (although my brisk walk is more of a slow waddle now).

I didnt work out at all in my first trimester (and I was a regular exerciser) I just felt so crappy. In my second I started going on long walks and doing prenatal yoga which i find awesome. Now i am still doing the yoga and i try to walk 3-5 miles a day at a slow pace.

My working out was cut drastically since I’ve been pregnant. Pre-pregnancy I ran every day, anywhere from 2-5 miles at a time, and I took spin classes twice a week and yoga once a week. As soon as I got pregnant I cut back to just walking and swimming. After some spotting scares I cut even those things per my doctor’s request. Once I hit second tri I started walking/doing arm weights again and now I walk at least a mile a day (at 27 weeks). I average about 2 miles a day but some days it’s 1 and some days it’s 4. I usually walk with hand weights. I’m looking forward to some good, rigorous exercise after the little guy gets here! I miss it!

Less intense workouts, for sure. Frequency has stayed mostly the same (maybe a tiny bit less)

I go to the gym the same amount now that I'm pregnant (8 weeks), but I do fast walking instead of running. I looove running, but my legs are super short so it feels I'm running really fast when I'm at 5.5/6 mph. I don't want to get my heart rate up too high, so I just walk.

I'm not that far along (7 weeks), but I started off really strong. I continued to go to the gym 3 times a week, and just reduced my running to fast walking. But then I got a terrible cold and I haven't been back to the gym since, haha. I need to get back into the swing of things!

I normally exercise regularly but I keep on finding excuses not to work out when pregnant. It's not really that hard to come up with excuses! I'm tired/don't feel well/feel nauseous/bloated/blah. I finally dragged my butt to the gym this morning. Are you diligent with work outs when pregnant?
