I have 2 sisters and a brother and I always had a better relationship with my brother versus my sisters. </p> <p>When we got pregnant the first time we found out we were having a boy, we were both thrilled!! Then when I found out I was pregnant the second time, I just knew it was a girl. </p> <p>We are lucky in the sense we got what we wanted, in the order we wanted. I really would have struggled initially having 2 girls but I think I would have been ok with 2 boys. </p> <p>If we had of had 2 of the same gender we would not try for a third in order to 'get a Boy/ girl'. Surprisingly, I think DH is a little sad about not having any girls. He's made comments about never getting to do a daddy-daughter dance, or chasing boys off the property. I don't think he even expected to feel that way because he is so happy with two boys. </p> <p>Plus, DH and I both only had siblings of the opposite gender, so we think it's cool that our boys will have a built-in best friend/brother. While I'd love to experience both, I also would love to see a same sex sibling relationship between them, since I am SO close to my sisters and DH is so close to his brothers.
