@mrbee: "Having kids is like a never-ending New Years"

That is SO true! Yea, I try to definitely watch how I am & talk around DS... ESPECIALLY since I work for my mom. It REALLY keeps me from coming home & ranting about work b/c my boss is also his grandma & I want to make sure that he has a good understanding of how you treat/hold your elders & having respect for authority.

Definitely not always easy & I fail BUNCHES! But most of the time when I do I definitely think about it & try & quickly fix it. lol

I do. Right now she's pretty young so I don't worry too much, but I think about what I need to change for the future. I want to eat healthier and watch less tv.

I think about this a lot... it's triggered a lot of change I wanted to put in place for a long time. Here's a partial list!

* I am eating much better so that Charlie knows to eat healthy.
* I am walking more and being more active, so that Charlie doesn't see his parents living a sedentary lifestyle of blogging and computer-ing.
* I am doing more chores, so that Charlie sees his dad doing a more equal share of stuff for the house.
* I am swearing less so that Charlie doesn't pick up my cussing ways.

Having kids is like a never-ending New Years... the urge to make resolutions for positive change is pretty amazing! We'll see how these resolutions holds up over time...

Do you worry about setting a good example for your LO?
