My brothers and I each have names that are only one syllable. I don't know if my parents did that on purpose or not.

We have chosen the names of our future children and while there is no theme, they do go well together.

We're still expecting our first, but the names we have chosen for our first two girls and our first boy are all family names. that's the closest we've come to a theme.

My DH & my name both start with J, so we actually avoid names with that letter. Both our #1 Girl name and #1 boy name begin with the letter 'E'. They go well together, but it wasn't necessarily done on purpose. I want them to sound simliiar, without being matchy-matchy. But if we happen to find a name that is matchy-matchy then oh well as long as it suits the child!

Im not really into names that "match" persay, but I do want them to sound like they are similar styles. We noticed the other day that all the girl names we like have an "L" somewhere in them (like Lucy, Alexis, Delilah). Both my husband and I have "J" middle names so we have thought about continuing that tradition on, but we'll see when the time comes.

We don't have kids yet. But my brother and I both have names that begin with "C" (although they don't really sound very similar). Our last name also begins with "C". And my married last name begins with "C" so I think I might want to continue the tradition. I really like the double initial.

I want to have some sort of flow. So I wouldn't choose an india type name to go with Mavrick. I think it wouldn't fit.
But I don't need to be matchy matchy as in same letters or same amount of syllables.

My husband and I both have A names (Alex and Ashley) so people always ask if we're going to have all A names in the family. The answer is always a resounding no. It's just not for us. :)

Personally I think each child is an individual, so I dont get why some siblings have names that "go together" I can kinda understand if they are twins but even then, if their names are Alice and Alicia thats toooo alike for me

I have always thought that was silly. My aunt named her kids Rayna, Raygan, and Rayder, and everyone in the family has always made fun of it behind her back.

No, our names don't go together. The first name flows with the middle and last, but there is no rhyme or reason to the name :)

Well they don't start with the same letter or anything, but they have a common theme in style. They are all unusual names, and have a vaguely international/Gaelic theme. But they also aren't totally oddball weird names, either.

We don't have kids yet, but we've already agreed on a boy name and a handful of girls names. They don't really "go together" as far as a theme or anything.

Me and my siblings have names that "go together" as far as they are all a bit "older." Amelia, William, Zachary and Ava. I love it. And FI and his brother both have "S" names. But the names we have picked out don't really go together. Lol.

We only have one baby now... but if we have a boy next they will be the names from Titanic :) Not on purpose, they're family names. My sister pointed it out.

Do your baby names "go together"? (same letters, same sounds, a theme?)
Do you think it's important that all the names flow well together?
Do your baby names flow with your names?
