This thread cracks me up. I always introduce myself before getting up in patients business. The bad part is I don't always remember patients on the hygiene schedule if you haven't been back for restoration because I see way too many people so I introduce myself to people I already know! I need to get my hygienists to tell me if I've seen someone before so I don't look like I can't remember anything! </p> <p>I have some patients I chat way more to. Dentist included. I love it. I've really gotten to know everyone the last few years and it makes going to the dentist so much easier. She is very young so maybe she just thinks she's being friendly.
