When I got pregnant, I started craving the mcnuggets in my first trimester, which was really weird since I hadn't touched them since childhood. Now in my 3rd trimester, I occasionally want a cheeseburger, but usually if I do, we just grill at home. My husband, however, LOVES it and before he met me, he ate there weekly. I probably ate more fast food in my first trimester than in the previous 2 years combined.</p> <p>Sometimes I get a craving for McDonald’s French fries or a Wendy’s Jr. Bacon cheeseburger, but I try not to eat fast food because it isn’t really that cheap, and I always feel so gross and crappy after from the content/chemicals in the food.</p> <p>ETA: I always eyeroll when people talk about ordering salads at fast food joints – the Caesar Salad with chicken, the Southwest Salad with chicken, the Asian salad with chicken and the bacon, ranch and chicken salad at McDonalds all have more calories and than a BIG MAC.
