Sometimes I make them take turns. We have a cycle of number car seats they have to go through because they would run to the car and push each other down to get to the front seat. Or I give Lilly a head start. We also talk a lot about sportsmanship and losing gracefully. We actually practiced racing in our backyard to talk about competitions and good manners. Who can wash their hands first. Who can be the first to sit down at the dinner table.
