I always remember thinking I would miss my mom if I had to live with a new family (in a new life) and then wondered about my mom in my past life and was sad for her. Like your LO, you couldn't prompt her to talk about it, but she would gladly tell you about him from time to time. He was an older man, which my parents thought was strange, so they would try to decipher stories to be certain nothing else was going on. </p> <p>Two weeks before 9/11, she woke up screaming (from what we thought was a night terror). Michael had been on a plane that crashed into a building in NYC. -- Again, like your LO, a lot of detail that my parents didn't prompt her with. Obviously, when 9/11 happened, we were all really creeped/emotional. At one point, she saw the TV, and said, "There's Michael's plane!" ... She's now 16, and doesn't like talking about it. She said she remembers it, but it makes her feel overwhelmed.
