DD has been a fan of chicken noodle soup and Pho since 8 months or so. I use to mash it up before she turned one. Then around 13 months she wouldn't eat it like that anymore so I just stopped mashing it up and she loved eating it not mashed up. Sometime between 20 and 24 months. It was very confusing to her, the concept of stuff plus broth, and she has just recently (at 28 months) started getting the hang of eating the broth.
