We've done swim lessons weekly since they were each 2 months old. Part of swim is for them to learn to hold their breath when we say, "1, 2, 3, Under!" I've just been scrubbing his hair with a soapy washcloth, then a clean washcloth like 5 times. I can't even get his hair wet to get the shampoo on. He freaks the eff out if *any* water touches his face. Like even a drop. He will cry, try to climb out of the tub, and make a huge spectacle. We have to use a washcloth to rinse the front to make it a bit less painful.</p> <p>Meanwhile, he will splash, turn the shower on, and stick his face into the water without a second thought. But they've gotten so, so much better at letting us rinse out their hair... it used to be a real battle, but now it goes much more smoothly.
