Our kids don't, but I did for my aunt Janine when I was little because I couldn't say auntie Janine. I called her nene. (Nee-nee)

It actually stuck and almost everyone calls her that now!

I have a nickname. My nephew could not say aunt Kimmie for the longest time but every time he saw me he would say Mimi (about 11 months old). He is 2 now and the nickname stuck.

lo's aunts and uncles don't have nicknames but i have an aunt sneaker. she has been called sneaker/sneak since before i was born so it's completely normal to us but we get a lot of weird looks when we use her name in public.

Some of E's do!

Uncle Ben : U-B, like it sounds, you-bee. Well, it's what he wants E to call him, anyway. The other nephews call him Uncle Benny).
Aunt Debra : A-D (like Haiti, without the H)
Aunt Lisa: Auntie Lee-Lee)
Aunt Emily: Auntie Em
Uncle Jesse : well, not him, that's his name, but Uncle Jesse!

I have more siblings, but they'll just be called by their names.

My dad is Jonathan and is called Uncle Donny by my cousins due to my uncle not being able to pronounce Johnny as a child. My aunts and uncle still call him that.

My aunt Melissa Ann is San.

My aunt Julianna is Gilly. I don't know why.

(I wasn't sure if this should go under Names or Family, so please feel free to move!)
