My SO is not necessarily a picky eater but there are things that he will not try even though I KNOW he would like it if he did. Drives me bonkers! I wanna just shove it down his throat sometimes, lol.

@mrs. wagon: I love GINGER with my sushi. I like pretty much everything too. Except nasty stuff like tripe and intestine and etc.

Yup. If it weren't for me, he wouldn't know the wonders of sushi! There are very few things he won't eat now and I don't push those on him, like mushrooms.

Very opposite for us. The only thing Rob Sr. claims to not like is the pickled ginger that comes with sushi. But he actually tried it a few months ago and he actually likes it now. So he likes literally EVERY food.

I am very picky so I'm the one who is unwilling to try new things. Poor Rob Sr.... he misses a lot of different kinds of foods.

We’re both adventurous eaters so it hasn’t been a big deal. The one veggie my husband thought he didn’t like, because he never had it prepared well/correctly, was squash. I love squash, so I prepared it in a tasty fashion, he tried it without convincing himself he would hate it no matter what and low and behold (lol) he now LOVES squash and we eat a lot of it.

I’m willing to try most anything because if thousands or millions of people around the world like it – I figure there is a good chance I might like it too and I would hate to miss out!

If SO was a pickier eater I would sneak stuff into his food to try to show him that not liking it is all in his mind.

DH and I both eat everything so there isn't anything either of us wouldn't try. Well, ok....I don't think we would eat bugs and stuff like that .....

My husband eats everything, there's nothing that I have ever made or ordered that he hasn't liked.

My husband is actually pretty adventurous when it comes to eating.

DH is picky and doesn't like most things that I love to eat.
I bought some rice pudding and it's REALLY good. I asked him if he wants some and he said "I don't like it."

I made him try some anyway.

How do you know you don't like it if you haven't tried it?!
